If you have had the honor and privilege to attend the Masters Golf Tournament in Augusta, Georgia then you know that you cannot fully enjoy your time on the greens without experiencing both the Masters Egg Salad and Pimento Cheese Sandwiches; classic and both are served on yummy white bread.

Augusta National Golf Club will never share or release the recipes but Chef David and Orange Beach Concierge have some of the very best egg salad and pimento cheese recipes I have ever had.

INGREDIENTS

Egg Salad

  • 6 large hard-boiled eggs
  • 4 tablespoons Duke’s mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon yellow mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon finely chives
  • salt and pepper to taste

DIRECTIONS

Peel eggs and finely chop.  In a medium bowl mix mayonnaise, vinegar, mustard, salt and pepper and chives.  Once all is mixed well, add chopped eggs and fold until just combined.  Serve with Bunny Bread.

INGREDIENTS

Pimento Cheese

  • 8 oz grated sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup of Duke’s mayonnaise
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon of chopped chives, parsley and thyme
  • 4/5 dashes of hot sauce
  • salt and pepper to taste

DIRECTIONS

Mix mayonnaise, cayenne, paprika, chives, parsley, thyme and hot sauce well in a bowl until blended completely then add shredded cheese and continue to fold until just combined and creamy. Serve with Bunny Bread.
