Featured Recipe: Classic French Onion Dip
Hi! Welcome to our monthly recipe feature from The Pantry, where we share some of our favorite culinary creations which you can also easily prepare in your own kitchens.
With the Super Bowl and Mardi Gras coming up, this month’s recipe is an all time party favorite . . . the simple to prepare and delicious Classic French Onion Dip.
- 1 Tbsp Cooking Oil
- 1 medium yellow onion, small diced
- 8 oz sour cream
- 8 oz mayonnaise
- 1/4 lemon, juiced
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley
- Salt & Pepper to taste
Heat cooking oil, add onions, cook until caramelized and golden brown. Deglaze throughout with water if needed. Let cool. Combine ingredients and fold. Refrigerate for two hours. Serve with your favorite crudite (vegetables) or chips.
